.AVIATION...Isolated showers were developing over the Coastal Bend
into the Brush Country. Expect showers and thunderstorms to become
scattered over much of the region by 19-20Z. VFR conditions will
exist outside of convective activity with MVFR vsbys within the
showers and thunderstorms. Convection may last into the early
evening hours over the Brush Country but should dissipate for the
coastal plains by 01z. Light winds and high boundary layer
moisture could lead to patchy fog for ALI/VCT with MVFR vsbys
between 09-13Z. VFR conditions will exist for the area after 14Z
Saturday.

DISCUSSION...Water vapor imagery shows a short wave trough
from northeast Texas to the Hill Country moving to the south
southeast. High moisture remains over south Texas with 12Z CRP
sounding showing precipitable water values slightly above 2
inches. Expect scattered convection will form ahead of this
short wave trough this afternoon. Current chance PoP looks good
at this point.
For tides, tide levels continue to be around 1.4 feet above
expected at Bob Hall Pier. Will approach 2 feet MSL around time of
high tide this afternoon. No changes will be made to the current
Coastal Flood Advisory.
