FLORIDA, WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
THROUGH THE EVENING. LATEST WRF-MODEL RUN DEPICTS THE DEVELOPMENT
OF THE WEST COAST SEA BREEZE...WHICH WILL KEEP THE WEST COAST AND
INTERIOR ACTIVE THROUGH THE EVENING.

LATEST GUIDANCE SHOWS A MID-UPPER LEVEL RIDGE EXTENDING FROM THE
GULF OF MEXICO TO THE ATLANTIC MOVING WESTWARD THROUGH THE NEXT
FEW DAYS. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR E/SE FLOW TO PREVAIL ACROSS THE AREA
AND HENCE...NEAR CLIMO CONDITIONS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE EACH AFTERNOON THROUGH THE PERIOD
MAINLY ACROSS THE INTERIOR AND WESTERN AREAS, WHERE THE SEA
BREEZES INTERACTION WILL BE GREATEST. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN IN
THE LOW 90S FOR THE HIGHS AND IN THE MID/UPPER 70S FOR THE LOWS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS: SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE ANTICIPATED TODAY OVER
THE EASTERN HALF OF SOUTH FLORIDA THIS MORNING WITH NUMEROUS SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE INTERIOR AND WEST THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. FREQUENT CLOUD TO SURFACE LIGHTNING STRIKES AND TORRENTIAL
DOWNPOURS WILL OCCUR WITH THIS ACTIVITY WITH LOCALIZED FLOODING AND
GUSTY WINDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT SOUTH FLORIDA
DAILY INTO EARLY NEXT WEEKEND. THE PRIMARY IMPACTS FROM THE STORMS
WILL BE LIGHTNING STRIKES, GUSTY WINDS, AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

HEAT INDICES WILL BE IN THE 100 TO 105 DEGREE RANGE ACROSS MOST OF
MAINLAND SOUTH FLORIDA EACH AFTERNOON.

Lightning struck a home in Pembroke Pines blowing a small hole in the roof and roofing tiles onto a parked car. The tiles caused minor damage to the car. No fire was started by the strike, however power was knocked out.
