WITH SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. MOST
OF THE ACTIVITY WILL AFFECT THE E COAST TERMINALS MORE THAN KAPF.

THUNDERSTORMS: WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
LATE THIS MORNING PERSISTING THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING OCCASIONAL
LIGHTNING STRIKES AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
FLOODING: THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL WHICH COULD RESULT IN MINOR STREET FLOODING WHERE
DRAINAGE IS POOR.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS ARE AGAIN EXPECTED ON TUESDAY WITH A FEW
STORMS POSSIBLY STRONG WITH THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM WIND GUSTS TO
45 MPH AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. DRIER AIR WILL BEGIN FILTERING
ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA ON WEDNESDAY FOR A SIGNIFICANT DECREASE IN
THE CHANCES FOR RAIN BUT ESPECIALLY ON THURSDAY. RETURN MOISTURE
WILL BRING BACK SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY INTO
THE WEEKEND.
THERE WILL ALSO BE AN INCREASED THREAT FOR RIP CURRENTS OVER THE
WEEKEND AT ALL ATLANTIC BEACHES AS WINDS WILL BECOME EASTERLY AT
AROUND 10 MPH.

Reports from the weather observer at Homestead Air Reserve Base, trained spotters and an off duty National Weather Service employee indicated a funnel cloud in the Goulds and Princeton area of South Miami-Dade County. The funnel cloud was visible for several minutes as the parent storm was nearly stationary, but did not touch down.
