NEAR BUCK CREEK IS ALSO CLOSED.The Dyess AFB radar (KDYX), 83 km away, was scanning. The volume nearest the first event began at 12:00 UTC.
31 flash flood, 7 flood, 2 thunderstorm wind, 1 heavy rain. Local standard time, as filed.
Several roads remained closed including FM 4 south of Interstate 20, South Lake View Road, FM 2201 and FM 919 north of Gordon, and Highway 281 south of FM 4.
A railroad train derailed after heavy rains caused portions of the track to wash out. Four cars fell over and the line had to be shut down.
CR 1229 and CR 1232 off of Highway 84 were flooded by Stills Creek due to heavy rains.
CR 31 and Barton Chapel Road were closed from previous flooding.
Flooding occurred on city streets and low water crossings. County Commissioners estimated damage at $0.6 million.
A high water rescue was required.
Roads were closed due to flooding and voluntary evacuations occurred.
Roads were flooded in several places around town.

Interstate 35 lanes were closed at exit 299 due to flooding.
