HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL RESULT IN WARM WEATHER AT THE COAST...HOT
WEATHER INLAND AND ONLY PATCHY COASTAL LOW CLOUDS. A COOLING TREND
WILL OCCUR WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AS THE UPPER HIGH WEAKENS AND THE
MARINE LAYER SPREADS FROM THE COAST TO THE VALLEYS. OTHERWISE...FAIR
WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THE REST OF THIS WEEK. MOISTURE WILL INCREASE
FROM THE SOUTHEAST OVER THE WEEKEND AND BRING THE POSSIBILITY OF
THUNDERSTORMS ON THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK...MAINLY TO THE
MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS.

COUNTIES.

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL RESULT IN ANOTHER
HOT DAY TODAY. DEW POINT TEMPERATURES AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY DOWN
SIGNIFICANTLY INTERIOR ESPECIALLY IN THE DESERTS THIS MORNING AS THE
ATMOSPHERE DRIES OUT. HUMIDITY UP SLIGHTLY COASTAL SECTIONS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE MARINE LAYER. LOWER HUMIDITY WILL RESULT IN
WARMER TEMPERATURES TODAY IN MOST AREAS.

THE HIGH BEGINS TO BREAK DOWN TONIGHT AS A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH
DEVELOPS ALONG THE WEST COAST. THIS WILL RESULT IN COOLER
TEMPERATURES AND A DEEPER MARINE LAYER STARTING WEDNESDAY AND
CONTINUING INTO FRIDAY. WINDS WILL BE GUSTY IN THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS ESPECIALLY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.

THIS WEEKEND COULD BE INTERESTING AS GFS COMPUTER MODEL SHOWS
INCREASE IN TROPICAL MOISTURE MOVING OVER THE SOUTHWEST U.S.
INCLUDING SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. COULD BE INCREASING THREAT OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ESPECIALLY OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. AT A
MINIMUM SHOULD SEE SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN MID AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS
LATE SATURDAY AND ESPECIALLY SUNDAY. BY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NEXT
WEEK MOISTURE HAS SHIFTED TO THE EAST FOR A DRYING TREND.
