STATUS QUO. VERY WEAK PRESSURE GRADIENT CONTINUES WITH LIGHT E
FLOW AS HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE SITS TO OUR NORTH. CURRENT SCATTERED
SHRA/ISOLATED TSRA OVER THE WTRS WILL BECOME SCATTERED CONVECTION
OVER THE MAINLAND IN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO. THE 12Z MFL SOUNDING
LOOKS EXTREMELY SIMILAR TO 24 HOURS AGO SO AGAIN CONVECTION SHOULD
GET STARTED ON SEA BREEZES AND THEN MEANDER AROUND AS STEERING
FLOW IS VERY WEAK.

DISCUSSION...TROPICAL WAVE AT 06Z WAS LOCATED ROUGHLY ALONG 69W
OR THROUGH THE EASTERN PART OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. THIS WAVE
IS MOVING WEST ABOUT 15 KNOTS WHICH PLACES THIS WAVE OVER
SOUTHEAST FLORIDA BY EARLY SUNDAY. THIS AGREES WELL WITH THE NAM12
MODELS DEPICTION OF THE INCREASE OF MEAN RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND A
WIND SHIFT FROM THE NORTHEAST TO THE SOUTHEAST THROUGH EARLY
SUNDAY. THE GFS IS ABOUT 6 HRS TOO SLOW. IN ANY CASE, THIS MAKES
THE WETTEST DAY ON SUNDAY AND WILL GO WITH A GOOD CHC WEST TO
LIKELY POPS EAST. WE WILL UNDER SOME SUBSIDENCE ON SAT AND THUS
ONLY SCATTERED POPS EXPECTED AND THIS CAN BE SEEN WITH A SLIGHT
DECREASE IN PWATS SAT. POPS WILL RETURN TO AOB CLIMO EARLY IN
THE WEEK.
MARINE...WINDS WILL BE QUITE LIGHT TODAY AND TONIGHT AND THEN
INCREASE OVER THE WEEKEND WITH THE INFLUENCE OF THE WAVE. THE
WINDS WILL STILL BE AT 15 KT OR LESS WITH SEAS 4 FEET OR LESS SO

Two male landscape maintenance workers in their 30s were injured by a lightning strike after attempting to take shelter beneath a tree at the former Broken Woods Country Club near Sample Road and University Drive. Both men were conscious but told paramedics they felt numb. Both men had exit wounds on their legs.
