UNDERNEATH THE TROF. AMS OVR S TX HAS BECOME VERY UNSTABLE THIS AFTN WITH
70+ DEW POINTS INTO THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN CWA...OR SOUTH A SFC TROF WHICH
LIES E-W ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY. ALSO SEEING A PUNCH OF AIR AT THE MID-LEVELS
IN THE WESTERN CWA THIS AFTN WHICH IN ADDITION TO STRONG HEATING WILL AID IN
INCREASING THE LAPSE RATES THIS EVENING. IN ADDITION TO THE SVR WX THREAT THERE

2 hail, 2 flash flood, 1 thunderstorm wind. Local standard time, as filed.
The Sheriff's Department reported that severe thunderstorms had blown down trees near Yorktown.
A general 1 inch rain fell from Thomaston northeastward, with up to 3 inches in places. Flash flooding closed CR104 and CR114 northeast of Thomaston.
In extreme northern Lavaca County, thunderstorms produced up to 4 inches of rain between Moravia and Hackberry. The resulting flash flooding closed FM957 near Moravia and FM532 near Hackberry.
