A 986 MB LOW OVER PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND WILL REMAIN OVER THE AREA
THROUGH TONIGHT AND WILL WEAKEN TO 1004 MB WEDNESDAY MORNING THEN
WILL MOVE INTO THE SOUTHERN YUKON TERRITORY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THE
COLD FRONT EXTENDING TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF THE LOW WILL
BECOME A STATIONARY FRONT FROM ABOUT 60 MILES SOUTH OF KODIAK ISLAND
TO 50 MILES SOUTHEAST OF YAKUTAT AND ACROSS THE SOUTHERN YUKON
TERRITORY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.
SNOW SHOWERS OVER PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND AND THE EASTERN KENAI
PENINSULA WILL CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT AND WILL END WEDNESDAY.
STRONG WINDS OVER COOK INLET, PARTS OF KENAI PENINSULA AND KODIAK
ISLAND WILL DIMINISH TONIGHT.
THE COLD AIR MASS CENTERED OVER THE SOUTHWEST INTERIOR WILL BEGIN TO
MODERATE WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.

A 989 MB LOW NEAR NORTHERN JAPAN WILL MOVE TO JUST EAST OF THE TIP OF
THE KAMCHATKA PENINSULA THURSDAY AFTERNOON. THE OCCLUDED FRONT WILL
LIE JUST SOUTH OF THE WESTERN ALEUTIANS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. STORM
FORCE WINDS WILL MOVE INTO THE WESTERN ALEUTIANS WEDNESDAY.

A strong pressure gradient wind funneling through Broad Pass resulted in blizzard conditions during the late afternoon and evening hours. Between 4 and 7 pm visibility was reduced to 1/8 of a mile at times with north winds peaking to 46 mph numerous times during the event. No damage was reported.
