WEST AND RIDGE TO SOUTH. MODELS ALSO SHOWING GOOD Q-V CONVERGENCE
OVER WRN HALF OF CWA AFTER 06Z. WEAK UPR LVL SPEED MAX ALSO
CURRENTLY WORKING EAST JUST NORTH OF LRD. PLENTY OF MOISTURE AS 00Z
SOUNDINGS INDICATE 2.3 AT CRP AND BRO AND 1.9 AT DRT WITH MOIST-
ADIABATIC PROFILE. WHILE ACTIVITY HAS DIMINISHED OVER CWA...WITH
EXCEPTION OF A FEW SHOWERS CURRENTLY ALONG THE COASTAL BEND AND
OFFSHORE WATERS...AM EXPECTING FURTHER DEVELOPMENT AFTER MIDNIGHT.
WILL ALSO KEEP CLOSE EYE ON CONVECTION CURRENTLY ENTERING BRO CWA
WORKING NORTH TOWARDS SOUTHERN WEBB. WINDS OFFSHORE SHOULD COME UP
TO AROUND 15 KNOTS...ALREADY 14 KNOTS AT BOY020. MSAS ANALYSIS
SHOWING GOOD MOISTURE CONVERGENCE OVER JUST OFFSHORE OF PORT
OCONNOR...WHICH MAY BE AIDING IN ONGOING SHOWERS THIS EVENING. SPEED
CONVERGENCE MAY SET UP A LITTLE FURTHER WEST TONIGHT. NO CHANGES
PLANNED TO FORECAST FOR TONIGHT...WILL MAINTAIN 50 POPS OVER ALL
ZONES WITH FURTHER ACTIVITY EXPECTED OVERNIGHT. WILL MAKE SOME MINOR
CHANGES TO GRIDS FOR TOMORROW...INCREASING THEM IN THE MORNING THEN
TAPERING THEM LOWER IN THE AFTERNOON AS ACTIVITY SHIFTS NORTH. THREE
DAY STORM TOTAL PRECIP INDICATES WIDESPREAD COVERAGE OF 3 TO 5
INCHES OVER DUVAL AND SOUTHEASTERN WEBB COUNTIES...WITH ISOLATED
SPOTS OF 6 TO 8 WEST OF BENAVIDES. WILL HAVE TO WATCH THESE AREAS
LATER TONIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW MORNING FOR FLOODING AS 1 HR FFG HAS
DROPPED TO NEAR 1 INCH FROM RFC.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TODAY THROUGH THIS
EVENING...WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS BECOMING MORE ISOLATED BY
MIDNIGHT. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
TO DEVELOP TOWARD MORNING OVER THE GULF WATERS AND MOVE INLAND...
MAINLY AFFECTING THE COASTAL COUNTIES OF SOUTH TEXAS. THE MAIN IMPACT
FROM THE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...WITH
ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF UP TO 3 OR MORE INCHES POSSIBLE. AVERAGE RAINFALL
AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY BE AROUND 1/2 INCH FOR THOSE WHO RECEIVE
RAINFALL. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED. WINDS WILL BE LESS FAVORABLE
TODAY FOR FUNNEL CLOUDS...ALTHOUGH AN ISOLATED FUNNEL CLOUD COULD NOT
BE RULED OUT DURING THE DAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ABUNDANT MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO COMBINED WITH A SERIES OF
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL BRING A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ON SATURDAY THEN A SLIGHT CHANCE SUNDAY. A TROPICAL
WAVE WILL APPROACH THE TEXAS COAST ON MONDAY BRINGING A CHANCE
OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO SOUTH TEXAS. RAIN CHANCES DECREASE
THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REMAIN BELOW
SEVERE LIMITS...BUT WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LIGHTNING...GUSTY
WINDS AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

Tornado began as a Waterspout on the Gulf of Mexico side of Mustang Island. It crossed the island 11 miles Southwest of Port Aransas along Highway 361 as a tornado moving North. It then dissipated over the island. No damage was reported on land or water.
