CAMPERS...HIKERS...AND THOSE WITH INTERESTS ALONG RIVERS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS THOSE IN LOW LYING AREAS SHOULD PREPARE FOR A HEAVY RAIN EVENT. Heavy rainfall associated with Claudette produced general 1 to 2 inch amounts with isolated totals between 5 and 6 inches over Karnes County. Flash flooding developed over the county during the evening and ended near midnight.
Heavy rain began falling in DeWitt County in the late afternoon, and by early evening the county had received general 1 to 2 inch rainfall with isolated 3 inch amounts. At that time, flash flooding began over the county's low water crossings. Rainfall continued through the evening, with the final amounts from Claudette of 2 to 3 inches generally and isolated totals of 6 inches.
Claudette produced heavy rain over Atascosa County in the late afternoon and early evening, with general accumulations of 1 to 2 inches and isolated totals over the southern part of the county of up to 6 inches.
Rainfall from Claudette produced general 1 to 2 inch rainfall during the evening over the County, with isolated to 4 inches in the south part of the county. Brief flash flooding was reported.
General 1 to 2 inch rainfall was produced by Claudette over Frio County, with isolated totals of up to 4 inches. Brief flash flooding occurred just before midnight.
Heavy rainfall fell over much of Bexar County, with general amounts of 1 to 2 inches. Isolated totals of up to 5 inches were reported over the south portion of the county. Flash flooding occurred just prior to midnight.
