STORM WIND WATCH FOR THE SW COUNTIES THIS AFTERNOON. HARRIS COUNTY
IS CONSIDERED A COASTAL COUNTY HENCE WILL NOT BE INCLUDED W/INLAND
WIND WATCH. INLAND TROPICAL STORM WIND WARNING SHOULD FOLLOW BY
EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.  37

MARINE...MAKING MAJOR CHANGES TO THE CWF THROUGH WEDNESDAY. PER TPC
FORECAST...TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WILL REACH THE EASTERN WATERS
LATE THIS AFTN/EVENING AND GALVESTON BAY EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. FOR
WESTERN WATERS...34 KNOT WINDS WOULD ARRIVE AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
AND REACH MATAGORDA BAY LATE MORNING TUESDAY. KEPT 50 KNOT+ WINDS
CONFINED TO WESTERN WATERS FOR NOW AND MENTIONED HURRICANE FORCE
WINDS THESE ZONES TUE AFTN/EVENING. INCREASED SEAS ALL WATERS AS

TROPICAL STORM CLAUDETTE...LOCATED 245 MILES SOUTHEAST OF FREEPORT AT
3 AM CDT...IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST AT 6 MILES AN HOUR THIS
MORNING.  AS RAIN BANDS APPROACH AND WORK ONTO THE COAST...WATERS
SPOUTS AND TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE.  SWELLS FROM CLAUDETTE MAY
PRODUCE HAZARDOUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS AND MINOR BEACH EROSION THROUGH
TONIGHT.  INTERESTS ALONG THE COAST SHOULD MONITOR THE LATEST
BULLETINS FROM THE TROPICAL PREDICTION CENTER.
