Some outbuildings were damaged extensively by the thunderstorm outflow winds.
The thunderstorm outflow winds snapped off or uprooted numerous large trees. One tree fell on a vehicle parked across the street from the fire hall. 15 to 20 homes received roof damage due to trees that fell on the roofs. A porch roof was also ripped off and thrown into a nearby football field. Numerous power poles were also snapped off.
Large tree limbs were broken off trees.
Thunderstorm outflow winds snapped off large tree limbs, broke off the top 150 feet of a 247 ft tower for KOGA radio, and destroyed six campers and extensively damaged seven other campers at a business one half mile south of Kingsley Dam. Nearby farmsteads received extensive damage to garages, barns, and outbuildings. Most doors on a storage facility near Kingsley Dam were damaged. Power poles and trees were also snapped off.
