UPPER LEVEL TROF AXIS REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
AND THE HILL COUNTRY THIS AFTERNOON. THE UPPER RIDGE TO THE NORTH
HAS THIS SYSTEM TRAPPED OVER THE CWFA. THE TROF AXIS HAS DRIFTED
WESTWARD THIS AFTERNOON BRINGING THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAIN AND FLASH
FLOODING TO THE WESTERN HALF OF THE CWFA. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
CURRENTLY LOCATED ACROSS THE CWFA WILL WEAKEN THIS EVENING. HOWEVER
ANOTHER VORT MAX IS FCST TO ROTATE AROUND THE UPPER TROF LATE
TONIGHT. THIS WILL KICK OFF ANOTHER MCS OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF
THE CWFA LATE TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING. THIS PATTERN MAY
REPEAT ITSELF THURSDAY NIGHT/FRIDAY MORNING WITH THE MCS DEVELOPING
CLOSER TO THE RIO GRANDE.
