UPPER LEVEL TROF AXIS REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
AND THE HILL COUNTRY THIS AFTERNOON. THE UPPER RIDGE TO THE NORTH
HAS THIS SYSTEM TRAPPED OVER THE CWFA. THE TROF AXIS HAS DRIFTED
WESTWARD THIS AFTERNOON BRINGING THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAIN AND FLASH
FLOODING TO THE WESTERN HALF OF THE CWFA. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
CURRENTLY LOCATED ACROSS THE CWFA WILL WEAKEN THIS EVENING. HOWEVER
ANOTHER VORT MAX IS FCST TO ROTATE AROUND THE UPPER TROF LATE
TONIGHT. THIS WILL KICK OFF ANOTHER MCS OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF

8 flash flood, 1 flood. Local standard time, as filed.
Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated totals to 4 inches in the western part of the county, brought back the flash flooding. Most roads were closed over western Blanco through the late night and early morning hours.
Additional heavy rain fell over almost all of Gillespie County, with amounts generally 3 to 4 inches and with as much as 8 inches between Willow City, Fredericksburg, Stonewall and Luckenbach. Flash flooding was occurring across the county through the late night and into the mid morning.
General 1 to 2 inch rains fell over Uvalde County during the evening, with totals of up to 6 inches in the southwest corner of the county, as well as near Utopia. The resultant flash flooding closed most rural county roads, as well as most roads in the north and southwest parts of the county. The flash flooding ended just after midnight.
Heavy rain in Medina County was generally confined to the northwest part of the county as well as along the Medina-Bexar County line. Totals in these two areas were generally 2 to 3 inches, with up to 5 inches in isolated locations. Flash flooding continued through the morning hours.
Through the early morning hours, two more inches or rain fell over Kerr County. Isolated totals of up to 5 inches were reported in the eastern part of the county. Flash flooding redeveloped immediately and continued until just past noon.
An additional two inches of rain fell along the Burnet -Llano County line, with isolated totals near 4 inches between Marble Falls and Burnet. Flash flooding redeveloped quickly and continued through the early morning hours, into the afternoon. Due to high water levels and the rapid rate of flow of the water, Lake Marble Falls is closed to boating and swimming.
An additional two inches of rain fell along the Burnet -Llano County line, with isolated totals near 3 inches. Brief flash flooding redeveloped in the eastern part of the county.
The Guadalupe River crested at Hunt at 16.70 feet on July 5 at 0745CST, where flood stage is 12.0 feet. It crested at Kerrville at 14.56 feet on July 5 at 1100CST, where flood stage is 9.0 feet.
Two more inches of rain fell across Bexar County in the early morning hours. Isolated additional totals were up to 4 inches, again in the western part of the county. With streams and creeks still at or above flood stage, flash flooding redeveloped across most county roads and continued through the morning and afternoon.
