ISOLD SHOWERS.  KBRO RADAR SHOWS THESE SHOWERS LIMITED TO HIDALGO
AND WILLACY COUNTIES.  RUC AND MESO-ETA MOISTURE FIELDS DO NOT SHOW
THE MOISTURE LEVELS DROPPING OFF UNTIL 12Z FRI.  WILL MAINTAIN THE
MENTION OF ISOLD SHOWER ACTIVITY THROUGH THE NIGHT UNTIL THE RH
VALUES FINALLY DIMINISH.  OTHERWISE...CURRENT ZFP LOOKS GOOD.

MARINE...BUOY020 SHOWS VERY ROUGH CONDITIONS OFFSHORE WITH SWELLS
NEAR 11 FT AND A NORTH WIND FROM 29G37KT.  THE GRADIENT WILL REMAIN

VERY DRY CONDITIONS PERSISTED ACROSS ALL OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS ONCE AGAIN, HOWEVER SOME BENEFICIAL RAINS FELL DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY. MONTHLY TOTALS RANGED FROM NEARLY A TENTH OF AN INCH AT FALCON DAM, TO AROUND ONE INCH AT HARLINGEN. THIS WAS THE 12 CONSECUTIVE MONTH WITH BELOW NORMAL RAINFALL AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BROWNSVILLE. DEEP SOUTH TEXAS CONTINUES TO EXPERIENCE MODERATE DROUGHT CONDITIONS, WITH COMBINED STORAGE AT BOTH FALCON AND AMISTAD RESERVOIRS AT 34.3 PERCENT OF CONSERVATION CAPACITY, DOWN FROM 43.9 PERCENT A YEAR AGO AT THIS TIME.
