THE WEST WINDS THROUGH MOST OF THE ATMOS ARE KEEPING US DRY.
THEREFORE WE CAN EASILY GET 35 DEGREE DIURNAL RANGE TODAY. WITH THE
SFC HIGH MOVING EAST TONIGHT, WILL GET SOUTHERLY WINDS AND
INCREASING DWPTS. ETA SHOW ISENTROPIC LIFTING STARTING TODAY AND
BY SUNDAY MORNING, LOW CLOUDS STREAMING NORTH THRU THE CWA. SO
SUNDAY WITH BE MOSTLY SUNNY WEST AND PARTLY CLOUDY EAST. BUT THE DRY
WEST WINDS IN THE BOUNDARY LAYER WILL ERODE MOST OF THE CLOUD LAYER
AND ALLOW TEMPS TO RISE TO OR GO ABOVE NORMAL AGAIN. SUNDAY NIGHT
SFC GRADIENT WILL SUPPORT STRATUS DEVELOPMENT AND LOW CLOUD
ADVECTION OVER EASTERN HALF. MONDAY AND TUESDAY WILL BE TRANSITION
DAYS. A SHORT WAVE TROUGH MOVES THROUGH MONDAY WILL GIVE THE
SOUTHEAST COUNTIES A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS. A LARGER BROAD
TROUGH OVER THE ROCKIES WILL ENHANCE THE SOUTHERLY FLOW OVER THE CWA
TUESDAY TO SET UP THE REGION FOR A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE NEXT PACIFIC COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE WEDNESDAY.
