FORECAST CHALLENGES ARE PRECIP CHALLENGES THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS
FOLLOWED BY TEMPS.

TON...MOISTURE/INSTABILITY AXIS SETS UP OVER CENTRAL/EASTERN CWA BUT
INHIBITION ONLY SUGGEST THE NORTHERN CWA TO SEE ANY PRECIP. ETA CIN
VALUES LESS THAN 20 MATCH UP WELL WITH FORECAST PRECIP SO WILL
STICK CLOSE. AS SURFACE LOW MOVES SLOWLY EAST WRAPAROUND MOISTURE
WILL KEEP THE CLOUDS IN WITH WINDS TURNING TO THE NORTH.

THUR/THUR NGT...WEAK UPPER TROUGH MOVES THROUGH THE AREA BUT LIFT IS
NIL. NOT ALL THAT EXCITED ABOUT MODELS TRYING TO GIVE US SOME LIGHT
PRECIP GIVEN INCOMING AND MORE STABLE HIGH PRESSURE. IT WILL BE
COOLER WITH 850 TEMPS SUPPORTING HIGHS IN THE 60S. SURFACE HIGH MOVES
OVERHEAD THURSDAY NIGHT WITH LIGHT WINDS AND COOLER TEMPS.

FRI/FRI NGT...SURFACE HIGH MOVES EAST WITH SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS
AND A RIBBON OF HIGHER MOISTURE/INSTABILITY RETURNING TO THE WESTERN
CWA. CIN VALUES ARE LOW. WITH WEAK RIPPLES AND 250 JET MAX MOVING
THROUGH THE WEST FLOW ALOFT CANT RULE OUT SOME -TSRA. WILL INCLUDE A
SMALL CHANCE. SURFACE TROUGH MOVES TOWARD THE CO/KS BORDER. ETA
EXTENSTION AND AVN SHOW WIDESPREAD PRECIP AS 850 MOISTURE AND
INSTABILITY REMAIN SUFFICIENT AS RIGHT REAR UPPER JET MOVES BY.

SAT/SAT NGT...LOOKS LIKE A BREAK FOR MUCH OF THE DAY BEFORE MOISTURE
RETURNS TO THE WESTERN/CENTRAL CWA. ETA EXTENSION AND ETA PAINT MORE
PRECIP FOR THIS AREA WITH WEAK DISTURBANCES AND APPROACHING UPPER
JET PROVIDING THE LIFT. SYSTEM EXITS THE AREA SAT NIGHT WITH DRYING
CONDITIONS.

EXTENDED FORECAST (SUN-WED)...BASIC SCENARIO INDICATES UPPER TROUGH
WILL CARVE ITSELF OUT TO THE WEST OF THE AREA EARLY IN THE PERIOD...
MIGRATING THROUGH THE AREA DURING THE MID AND LATTER HALFS OF THE
EXTENDED PERIODS. TEMPERATURES WILL COOL THROUGHOUT THE PERIOD AS
THE UPPER SYSTEM AND COLDER AIRMASS ASSOCIATED WITH IT MOVE THROUGH.
IT ALSO APPEARS THAT PRECIP CHANCES WILL ALSO INCREASE LATE MONDAY
INTO TUESDAY BEFORE EXITING THE AREA WEDNESDAY.
