PLACED THE SFC CDFNT FM CNTRL NC THROUGH THE MIDLANDS TO JUST S OF
ATL. FRNTL PSN IS A BIT MUDDLED WITH SEVERAL OUTFLOW BNDRYS ACROSS
THE AREA. LOW-LVL CONVG HAS INCRD ACROSS THE W DURING THE AFTN WITH
SATL DERIVED RAOBS SHOWING THE ATMOS ACROSS THE CWFA CONTG TO
DESTABILIZE. MID-LVL FLOW LOOKS TO BE A BIT STRONGER THAN PROGD YDA
BY THE 12Z MODELS AND THUS SUPPORTS THE RECENT UPGRADE TO SLGT RISK
BY SPC. BEST TSTM CHANCES WL BE CONFINED TO THE FAR INLAND ZONES AND
WL PLAY THE HIGHEST POPS THERE. WHERE THE FNT EVENTUALLY WINDS UP IS
STILL IN QUESTION AND WL BE HIGHLY DEPENDANT ON THE COVERAGE AND
INTENSITY OF CONVECTION TNGT. RIGHT NOW IT APPEARS THE BNDRY WL
BECOME STNRY JUST N OF SAV. AS SUSPECTED YDA THE 12Z MODELS HAVE
SLOWED DOWN ON LIFTING THE WMFNT BACK TO THE N ON SAT AND NOW MAY
NOT OCCUR UNTIL ERLY SAT NGT. WITH WK SHORTWAVES RIDING THE TOP OF
THE SUBTROP RIDGE AND A BNDRY IN THE AREA CHANCE POPS LOOK WARRANTED
IN THE NRN AND CNTRL AREAS WITH SLGT CHANCE POPS ACROSS THE S. CONDS
DRY OUT ON SUN WITH CONTD ABV NORMAL TEMPS. ATTN SHIFTS TO MON AS
THE NXT FNT APPROACHES FM THE W. AVN/ECMWF NOT QUITE AS STRONG THE
UPR TROUGH AS WITH PREVIOUS RUNS BUT EVEN THE ETA AT 60HR SHOWS A
NICE SRN STREAM VORT TRYING TO PHASE WITH GREAT LAKES TROUGH BY SUN
NGT. ALL THIS SAID SEE NO REASON TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO MON NGT/ERLY
TUE AS IT LOOKS WELL HANDLED. THIS MAY BE ONE OF THE BTR CHANCES FOR
PRECIP IN SEVERAL WEEKS BUT ITS HARD TO FCST GOOD RAINS IN A DROUGHT.

OFFSHORE TUE MRNG NO SIG WX XPCTD ATTM WITH HIGH PRES THE DOMINATING
FEATURE. PRELIM COORD NUMBERS BELOW.

MARINE...FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE SC COASTAL WATERS LATE TONIGHT AND
PROBABLY WONT GO MUCH FURTHER SOUTH THAN SC/GA BORDER. MAINLY
SOUTHEAST FLOW THROUGH THE PERIOD. NO FLAGS EXPECTED.
