CLOSED H100-H50 LOW OVER THE NE GOMEX/TN VALLEY IS COMBINING WITH
THE ATLC SUBTROPICAL RIDGE AXIS OVER CUBA/FL STRAITS TO PRODUCE A
STRONG SW FLOW ACROSS FL. MORNING SOUNDINGS AND LATEST RUC40
ANALYSIS SHOW ALMOST UNIDIRECTIONAL SW FLOW IN THE H100-H50 LAYER
ACROSS ALL BUT THE EXTREME SE PENINSULA/WRN PANHANDLE.

LARGE RAINMASS W/EMBEDDED CONVECTION OVER THE N/WRN PENINSULA...MUCH
OF THE INTERIOR CWA HAS EXPERIENCE THE INITIAL SURGE OF PRECIP
ALREADY...AND LATEST RADAR IMAGES SHOW THE STRATIFORM RAIN BEHIND
THE INITIAL CONVECTIVE LINE IS DISSIPATING. WHILE THIS HAS
STABILIZED THE AMS OVER THE INTERIOR CWA...THERE STILL IS PLENTY OF
MID/UPR LVL SUPPORT IN PLACE AND SEVERAL HOURS OF DAYLIGHT LEFT.
TSTORM POTENTIAL STILL EXISTS IF THE CLOUD SHIELD THINS BEGINS TO
THIN OUT.

WILL REFRESH THE ZFP WORDING...BUT OVERALL THE MORNING PACKAGE LOOKS
GOOD. NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES OTHER THAN A MINOR POP ADJUSTMENT.

...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ARE LIKELY TODAY...
...POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING POSSIBLE...

A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS HAS MOVED INTO CENTRAL FLORIDA TODAY.
THE DEEP MOISTURE COMBINED WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER GEORGIA
WILL RESULT IN MUCH GREATER RAIN CHANCES THAN THE PAST FEW DAYS.

A DEEP SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW OVER THE PENINSULA WILL STEER THE STORMS
TO THE NORTHEAST. THE STORMS WILL HAVE A THE POTENTIAL TO TRAIN
OVER THE SAME AREAS...AND COULD PRODUCE HIGH PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS.
LOCAL AREAS COULD RECEIVE 2 TO 3 OF RAIN IN A RELATIVELY SHORT TIME
PERIOD. PONDING WATER ON ROADS AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING WILL
RESULT. THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR MORE SIGNIFICANT FLOODING IN A FEW
AREAS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE SAINT JOHNS RIVER...WHERE EXCESSIVE
RAINFALL HAS OCCURRING OVER THE PAST TWO WEEKS.

ALTHOUGH RIVER LEVELS ALONG THE ST JOHNS HAVE SLOWLY DECREASED IN
RECENT DAYS...HEAVY RAINS MAY BRING THE RIVER BACK DANGEROUSLY CLOSE
TO FLOOD STAGE...ESPECIALLY AT GENEVA AND SANFORD.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING...AND MAY PRODUCE STRONG WIND GUSTS. MOVE INSIDE AT THE
FIRST SIGN OF THREATENING SKIES...AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND
ELECTRIC APPLIANCES. DO NOT USE CORDED TELEPHONES DURING A
THUNDERSTORM.

FOR MARINERS...STORMS THAT DEVELOP OVER THE MAINLAND WILL MOVE
OFFSHORE DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. THE STORMS MAY BRING
WIND GUSTS OF 35 KNOTS AND DEADLY CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING AS THEY
MOVE NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 KNOTS.
