THIS ALLOWS WRAP-AROUND MOISTURE TO CONTINUE OVER NORTHEAST OREGON TONIGHT. THE PRIMARY MECHANISM FOR LIFT IS UPSLOPE FLOW. THE NORTH FACING SLOPES OF WALLOWA COUNTY WILL RECEIVE THE MOST PRECIPITATION...IN FACT THE JOSEPH LODGE TRAM REPORTS 2 INCHES OF SNOW HAS ALREADY FALLEN NEAR 8000 FEET. A SNOW ADVISORY FOR WALLOWA COUNTY FOR 3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 6000 FEET HAS BEEN ISSUED.
