A weak trough or convergence line moved across Vermont during the afternoon of June 30th. Thunderstorms preceded and accompanied this trough line. A few of the storms were accompanied by strong winds. In the Vermont town of Middlesex, numerous trees were either blown down or snapped. Structural damage to a shed was reported as well as a number of power outages.
