HIGH AND MID LEVEL MOISTURE WILL INCREASE GRADUALLY ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH SATURDAY...WITH ENOUGH FOR ISOLATED AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS. DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE IN NOW JUST EAST OF THE FORECAST AREA...AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE PUSHED EAST AND SOUTH AS A LONG WAVE TROUGH MOVES INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. HEIGHTS AND TEMPERATURES ALOFT WILL CONTINUE TO DROP AS THE TROUGH APPROACHES THE INTERMOUNTAIN AREA THROUGH SUNDAY. IT APPEARS THAT THIS SHORT WAVE WILL HAVE A BIGGER IMPACT ON OUR WEATHER...ESPECIALLY IN THE NORTH WEDNESDAY AND INTO THURSDAY. MOISTURE ALSO INCREASES IN THE SOUTH AHEAD OF THIS SHORT WAVE SO WE SHOULD SEE CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA.
