DIFFICULT FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 36 HOURS IN REGARD TO CURRENT AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH VORTICITY MAXIMUM AHEAD OF SHORTWAVE APPROACHING THE FORECAST AREA. TEMPERATURES AND RAIN CHANCES TODAY WITH THREAT FOR POSSIBLE SEVERE WEATHER OVER SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS AND EXTREME NORTHEAST TEXAS THIS MORNING. SURFACE MAP HAS COLD FRONT FROM EASTERN KANSAS THROUGH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA INTO NORTHWEST TEXAS.
