UP ON ONGOING PRECIPITATION PATTERN...MISSED BY OTHER MODELS.

SURFACE LOW CURRENTLY LOCATED ALONG EAST KANSAS/NEBRASKA BORDER WITH
ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT EXTENDING SOUTH THROUGH KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA...
ARCING SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL TEXAS. WARM FRONT NOW WELL NORTH OF
THE FCST AREA FOLLOWED BY DEW POINTS IN THE LOW 70S. INTERESTING
NOTE...DEW POINTS FELL IN THE MID 30S YESTERDAY THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON HOURS...SO WE HAVE EFFECTIVELY SEEN A RISE OF 35
DEW POINT DEGREES PLUS OVER 24 HOURS.

FRONT MOVES INTO A SHREVEPORT TO HOUSTON LINE TOWARD MIDNIGHT...
FROM JACKSON TO BEAUMONT BY NOON TUESDAY...THEN STALLS IN THIS
REGION. EXPECTING CURRENT SCATTERED PRECIPITATION TO BECOME MORE
WIDESPREAD THROUGH THE NIGHT AS CONVERGENCE AND LIFT INCREASES AS
BOUNDARY MOVES INTO REGION. SURFACE BASED CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY WILL BE
PREVALENT ALONG AND AHEAD OF FRONT...OVERRUNNING TYPE SITUATION
BEHIND WITH ELEVATED THUNDERSTORMS.
