What happened

The episode as NWS MFR wrote it up.

A Flash Flood Warning was issued for East Central Douglas county for the period listed above, based on radar data. The Boulder Creek area was of special concern. The US Forest Service later reported some flooding across USFS roads in the Calf Creek and Copeland Creek drainages as well as some mudslides. The largest problem was a 2 inch accumulation of .25 to .50 inch hail on State Highway 138 which caused the roadway to be slick along with near zero visibilities.
