A Severe Thunderstorm warning was issued for Northwest Siskiyou county in California and Southwest Jackson county in Oregon for the period listed above based on a spotter report and radar data. A Siskiyou county spotter reported "blueberry-sized" hail with this thunderstorm. The thunderstorm strengthened significantly on the radar after the report, so the warning was issued under the assumption that the hail was now at least 3/4 inch in diameter. Verification of the warning was attempted, but was unsuccessful.

UPPER LOW PRESSURE OFF CALIFORNIA COAST CONTINUES TO SEND A SERIES OF SHORT WAVE INTO OUR FORECAST AREA. PRECIPITABLE WATER FROM THIS MORNING IS AROUND 1 INCH AND EXPECT STORMS THIS EVENING TO BE WETTER THAN THE ONES LAST NIGHT.
