After 2 weeks of dry conditions, the third and fourth weeks were extremely wet. Near Patriot of western Gallia County, 11.95 inches of rain was measured for the month. Jackson had 10.5 inches. Monthly rains of 8 to 9 inches were widespread across these 5 counties.
