935 PM EDT WED APR 11 2001

UPPER RIDGE IS MOVING TO THE EAST COAST...WITH VIGOROUS CUTOFF LOW
MOVING TOWARD THE UPPER GREAT LAKES.  SFC MAP HAS 984 MB LOW OVER
EASTERN NEBRASKA...WITH STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT SURROUNDING THE
LOW.  MOISTURE IS CONTINUING TO ADVECT NORTH IN THE STRONG SOUTHERLY
FLOW ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE LOW...WITH GOOD SFC WIND AND MOISTURE
CONVERGENCE PRESENT INTO NORTHERN OHIO.

THOUGH SFC PATTERN IS FAVORABLE FOR TSRA...H5 NVA IN WARM SECTOR
ALONG WITH CAP AT AROUND 10 KFT HAVE CURTAILED ACTIVITY IN OUR AREA
THIS EVENING.  I EXPECT SCT SHRA/TSRA WILL MOVE IN LATE TONIGHT AS
COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY.  BEST CHANCE FOR
SEVERE TSRA WILL BE IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO CLOSER TO LOW CENTER WHERE
HELICITY WILL BE GREATER.  OTHER TSRA OVER WESTERN TENNESSEE MAY
MOVE UP AND AFFECT CVG AS PER ETA QPF.  AGREE WITH PREVIOUS SHIFT IN
GOING ABOVE FWC POPS...THOUGH MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL BE NORTHWEST
OF HERE NEAR THE SFC LOW.

OVERNIGHT LOWS LOOK GOOD NEAR FWC IN LOW 60S.  WILL UPDATE TO REMOVE
EVENING WORDING.

Heavy rainfall caused the Scioto River at both Circleville and Piketon to overflow its banks. At Circleville, the river crested at 14.2 feet causing minor flooding along the river. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. At Piketon, the river crested at an estimated 18.8 feet causing backwater flooding in area creeks. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
