WATER VAPOR SATELLITE IMAGERY CLEARLY SHOWS HUGE GULF OF ALASKA DEPRESSION SETTLING SOUTHEASTWARD. WHILE THIS PARTICULAR SYSTEM LIFTS INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST...IT HELPS TO CARVE OUT A LONG WAVE TROUGH OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC AND WESTERN UNITED STATES. THE SHORT TERM STARTS OUT WITH A DRAMATIC COOLING TREND AS H7 TEMPS FALL FROM THE INCREDIBLE +17C PROGGED FOR TODAY TO A MUCH COOLER +11C BY SUNDAY. THE WEEKEND WILL ALSO BE BREEZY TO WINDY AS THE GRADIENTS TIGHTEN AND FLOW ALOFT INCREASES. H7 FLOW INCREASES FROM 15 KNOTS TODAY TO 25 KNOTS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
