SURFACE ANALYSIS SUGGESTS WHILE WINDS SHIFTING IN HEART OF FA THERE
IS LTL CHANGE IN AIR MASS TIL WELL BEHIND THE BOUNDARY...TO NORTH OF
FA.

PROBABLY MAIN FCST CHALLENGE IS HOW FAR WL FRONT MAKE IT THRU AND
WHETHER OR NOT WELL EVER SEE A POST FRONTALLY MODIFIED AIR MASS.
MODELS HAVE BEEN FARILY CONSISTENT IN SUGGESTING SRN PTNS FA WL
NEVER SEE MUCH OF A CHG IN DEW POINTS...AND LATEST DATA DOES NOT
DEVIATE THAT THINKING. AVN HAS PERFORMED ADMIRABLY LAST 24 HOURS
ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO QPF OUTPUT...AND AS A RESULT WL LEAN MORE
TOWARD ITS SOLUTION...THOUGH THERE IS NOT MARKED DIFFERENCE IN ANY.
THE RESULT WL BE A CONTINUATION OF A POP FOR SRN 2/3 REGION THRU
SUNDAY...BUT MAYBE LAYING OFF POP IN NRN MOST PERIPHERY AFT FRI
NIGHT AT LEAST ONE MORE RUN.

WITH LEAN ON AVN WL ALSO HEDGE TOWARD FAN/MAV NOS VERSUS WARMER AND
DRIER FWC GUIDANCE.

EXTENDED IS PRETTY MUCH IN LINE WITH NEW DATA. MODELS KEEP HINTING
AT THU CHC ALBEIT A SMALL ONE...SO WILL CARRY IT ON FOR NOW.

AM SATURDAY.

WARM AND SOUPY AIR REMAINS ENTRENCHED OVER THE LOWER OHIO AND MID
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TODAY. A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL SLOWLY MAKE ITS WAY
TO THE EAST THIS AFTERNOON. EVEN THOUGH COOLER AND DRIER AIR LAGS
WELL BEHIND THE FRONT...AND ITS FULL EFFECTS WILL LIKELY NOT MAKE
THEIR WAY THIS FAR SOUTH...THE FRONT ITSELF WILL PROVIDE ENOUGH OF
AN IMPETUS TO HELP FOCUS AT LEAST SCATTERED TO WIDELY SCATTERED
CONVECTION AGAIN...MAINLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

WHILE THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER INTO THE NIGHT...
THE BEST CHANCE WILL BE DURING THE HEAT OF THE AFTERNOON. LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN IS AGAIN THE PRIMARY THREAT. STORM MOVEMENT WILL BE
GENERALLY EAST AND LESS THAN 15 MPH.

WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED...HOWEVER SPOTTERS MAY
