06Z SURFACE ANALYSIS CONTINUES TO DEPICT LOW OVER WESTERN TEXAS WITH
AN ASSOCIATED WARM FRONT EXTENDING NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH MCI...SPI
TO NEAR IND. HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE SE US STILL FOCUSES RIDGE AXIS
THROUGH HEART OF THE FA.
00Z WED MODEL RUNS AGREE THE WARM FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MEANDER
...ALONG AND JUST NORTH OF FA...TODAY. HOWEVER DISCONTINUITIES WITH
THE AVN/ETA SOLUTIONS BEGIN OVNGT TNGT. THE AVN BRINGS COLD FRONT
EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER 06Z THU AND SOUTH/EAST OF THE FA BY
12Z THU. IN CONTRAST...THE ETA HOLDS FRONT WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI
UNTIL 12Z (60 HOURS) FRIDAY. THE 00Z TUE ETA RUN POSITIONED THE
FRONT IN A SIMILAR ORIENTATION AT 60 HOURS...WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN
12Z THU. THUS...THE ETA KEEPS PUSHING FROPA BACK. THE AVN PUSHES
FRONT THROUGH AND KEEPS SOUTHEAST PROGRESSION STRONG. TS ALLISON
SHOULD WORK AGAINST THIS SOLUTION. THE END RESULT IS...POSSIBLY
HAVING DECREASED POPS OVER PORTIONS OF FA...BUT WITH AN INCREASED
LONGEVITY.
WITH SUCH DISCREPANCIES IN THE MODELS...HAVE LOW CONFIDENCE IN
EITHER SOLUTION. THIS COMBINED WITH THE INFLUENCE OF REMNANTS FROM
ALLISON EVEN FURTHER COMPLICATE THE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS. ALL THIS
CONSIDERED THE CHC OF TSRA WILL CONTINUE WITH EITHER SOLUTION.
POSSIBLE CHANGES TO TIMING OF POPS SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER DUE TO
UNCERTAINTY TO FROPA TIUME.
FWC OUTPERFORMING ALL OTHER NUMERICAL GUIDANCE AND WILL FOLLOW
CLOSELY. WILL HEDGE TO THE WARM SIDE OF AVN GUIDANCE PAST THE FWC
FORECAST PERIODS.
