HAVE UPDATED THE FORECAST TO INTRODUCE SCTD SHRA/ISOLD TSRA FOR
WEST CENTRAL SECTIONS TONIGHT...MAINLY WEST OF A CANTON-MASON CITY-
SPRINGFIELD LINE. RADAR AND SATELLITE LOOPS INDICATE THAT ELEVATED
CONVECTION ALONG SE IA/NE MO BORDER IS MAINTAINING ITS STRENGTH AS
IT MOVES INTO WCENT IL. SOME WEAKENING IS XPCTD...BUT NOT ENOUGH TO
COMPLETELY DISSIPATE THE PRECIPITATION. LATEST RUC ALSO POINTING TO
A CONTINUATION OF LOW LEVEL WARM ADVECTION AND MOISTURE CONVERGENCE
XPCTD OVERNIGHT NEAR THE IA/MO BORDER. THIS IS XPCTD TO PROPAGATE
INTO WCENT IL AS IT TURNS TO THE SOUTHEAST. THUS...DECIDED TO KEEP
THE MENTION OF SCTD PCPN IN THE FCST THROUGH THE NIGHT IN THE
AFOREMENTIONED AREA.

AT THIS TIME...IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT THE ISOLD SHOWERS NW-N OF
PEORIA WILL PERSIST. ALSO...THE 00Z ILX SOUNDING AND WIND PROFILERS
DO NOT SUGGEST THAT THE RAINFALL ENTERING WCENT IL WILL MAKE IT MUCH
FARTHER EAST THAN I-55. WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THROUGH THE EVENING
FOR LATER UPDATES IN CASE THIS SCENARIO CHANGES.
