ALSO SOME SHOWERS OVER GULF WATERS OFF COLLIER COUNTY. THE 12Z MFL SOUNDING INDICATES VERY SIMILAR CONDITIONS TO YESTERDAY...THOUGH PRECIPITABLE WATER HAS INCREASED SLIGHTLY TO 1.87". THE 12Z SURFACE ANALYSIS PLACES SURFACE RIDGE AXIS OVER CENTRAL FLORIDA JUST NORTH OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE. CURRENT FORECAST ON TRACK WITH MOST SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AGAIN CONCENTRATED OVER INTERIOR AREAS AND WEST COAST. WILL LIKELY UPDATED FIRST PERIOD HOWEVER TO REMOVE THE MORNING WORDING. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER INTERIOR SECTIONS OF SOUTH FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON...AND DRIFT SLOWLY TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST COASTAL AREAS. THE PREFERRED LOCATION FOR THESE STORMS TO DEVELOP WILL BE OVER THE EVERGLADES EXTENDING WEST TO THE SOUTHWEST COAST.
