PANHANDLE AND BIG BEND. LATEST CONCERN IS WITH RAIN BAND MOVING
NORTH NORTHWEST FROM THE APALACHEE BAY INTO WAKULLA AND LEON
COUNTIES. THESE SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE BEGINNING TO EXHIBIT
ROTATION...AND MAY SEE ISOLATED WATERSPOUTS MOVING INLAND. IN
ADDITION...IF THIS RAIN BAND TRAINS (AS IT SEEMS TO BE DOING) WE
COULD SEE SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL OVER THIS REGION.
WINDS ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA HAVE NOT YET INCREASED TO LEVELS THAT
ONE WOULD EXPECT. WIND REPORTS FROM ASOS SITES...AS WELL AS AREA TV
STATION/SCHOOL NETWORKS INDICATE WINDS HAVE GUSTED INTO THE 30S OVER
THE PANHANDLE COASTAL AREA...BAY COUNTY IN PARTICULAR.
