The system brought blizzard conditions to northwest Alaska, namely:Zone 201: WainwrightZone 207: ShishmarefZone 208: Red Dog MineA truck-double trailer hauling 40 tons of zinc concentrate from Red Dog Mine to the port south of Kivalina overturned enroute when the truck ran off the road due to poor visibility. The driver sustained minor injuries, treatable at the accident site.
