Hail and Damaging Winds in Wisconsin, June 8, 2000
Moist, unstable air combined with an approaching cold front, which led to the formation of severe thunderstorms in northeast Wisconsin. The most severe damage occurred over central Marinette county, near Middle Inlet, where winds of 60 mph downed large trees and hail over three inches in diameter fell.

The most severe damage occurred over central Marinette county, near Middle Inlet, where winds of 60 mph downed large trees and hail over three inches in diameter fell. At least 2,200 customers lost electrical power as a result of the storms.
