May 4, 2000 - Event NarrativeShowers and thunderstorms developed once again along several boundaries. Many of these storms were slow moving, resulting in flash flooding. The two main areas of storms were located along a line from Denton, to Rockwall, to Fairfield, with another area from Granbury to Waco. There were numerous roads closed due to flooding, as well as a few reports of hail and wind.

The roof of an industrial building was blown off by strong thunderstorm wind. Large tree limbs were blown down and thirteen homes were damaged by falling trees. Fifty seven homes suffered minor damage and numerous fences were blown down.
