Widespread damage was reported to windows and roofs of homes and to cars and vegetation by a combination of a strong downburst and large hail that struck the north side of Seguin. Power lines were also blown down. The initial reports were received from Amateur Radio Operators. Storm damage was later assessed during an NWS Storm Survey.
