Heavy rainfall of up to 8 inches from Colorado City to Snyder caused the North Concho River to climb out of its banks across Sterling and Tom Green Counties. The river crested at around 20 feet on the afternoon of the 24th, or about 8 feet above flood stage. Moderate flooding occurred, forcing the closure of Farm Roads 2034 and 2288, as well as the Carlsbad Loop. However, no injuries or significant damage was reported.
