A classic supercell thunderstorm produced a brief tornado that knocked over trees in a 200 yard swath on the Santa Cecilia ranch. This tornado was observed by a citizen living on the ranch.

A bow echo complex produced damaging thunderstorm winds that blew over a canopy located above the fuel pumps at the economy store near Elsa and these damaging winds knocked down power lines in nearby Edcouch.
