April 1, 2000 - Event NarrativeIsolated thunderstorms developed in North Texas, mainly north of a Denton to Mckinney line, along the Red River. The first storms developed shortly before noon near Denton. These storms lasted into the early afternoon. Additional isolated storms developed in the southern portion of the area from Gatesville to Meridian. Another storm developed north of Canton.
