A slow moving thunderstorm with heavy rain flooded the Becky Johnson Community Campus. Water levels reached two feet in the parking lot outside the building. Several inches of water passed under the front entrance, wetting much of the carpet and flooring of the building. Nearby, at the Redmond Airport, the ASOS measured 0.61 inches of rain in one-half hour. In another section of town, 1 1/2 inches fell in 40 minutes. This was accompained by 1/2 inch hail. Other reports around town indicated widespread street flooding, with 3 to 9 inches of standing water common.
