A series of thunderstorms with torrential downpours caused flash flooding of a few creeks in southern Warren and northern Hunterdon Counties. Storm totals included 2.40 inches in High Bridge (Hunterdon County), 1.9 inches in Washington Township (Warren County) and 1.83 inches in Annadale (Hunterdon County). Two inches of rain fell within 30 minutes in Broadway (Warren County). Doppler Radar Storm total estimates (and adjusting them based on ground reports) showed there was as much as 3 to 4 inches of rain in Franklin and Harmony Townships (in Warren County) and scattered throughout the northernmost townships in Hunterdon County.
