Freezing rain spread across most of southeast Missouri during the mid-morning hours. Most of the icing was north and west of a line from Poplar Bluff to Cape Girardeau. The thin layer of ice, less than a quarter inch thick, caused some hazardous travel conditions. The precipitation ended by mid afternoon.
