Damaging Wind in Missouri, August 22, 2000
Considerable damage was reported around Gainesville by a "microburst" type system. The most serious damage was to Gainesville Building Supply, located southwest of the downtown area on Highway 160, and to Century Bank of the Ozarks, located on the northeast corner of the Gainesville square.
