A warm front remained nearly stationary from northwest into southeast Iowa as was the case during the previous evening. Another cluster of thunderstorms formed along the warm front over northwest Iowa and moved southeast along the front. The storms produced gusty winds around 50 MPH in many areas as they passed. One cell produced a downburst or possibly a brief gustnado in Lucas County as it moved south of the town of Williamson. Considerable tree damage occurred in the area as well as some damage to sheds and outbuildings in the area. The same cell continued to move southeast and produce high winds. A barn was blown down in Appanoose County near the town of Plano.
