A line of thunderstorms moved through the south suburbs of Chicago and into northwest Indiana. Tree limbs and downed power lines knocked out power along I-80. The ASOS at VPZ recoreded a 76 mph wind gust. Large limbs were blown down, a tree was uprooted and a large heavy swing set was toppled east of Valparaiso.
