Thunderstorm wind gusts of 64 mph were measured by Automated Surface Observing Equipment (ASOS) at the Hernando County Airport. Hernando Emergency Management reported that thunderstorm winds damaged the roof of a chickan farm, downed several large trees, branches and power lines from the Hernando County Airport northeast to near the intersection of U.S. Highway 41 and Powell Road.
