The Florida Highway Patrol reported that downburst winds caused minor roof damage and downed a few large tree branches near the intersection of Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 301 in the Eureka Springs area of Tampa. A highway sign along the eastbound lane of Interstate 4 east of U.S. Highway 301 was bent eastward while a few plywood construction concrete forms were blown over.
