Heavy rainfall of six to eight inches in less than three hours caused localized urban flooding from Palm Harbor in Pinellas county north along the U.S. Highway corridor to New Port Richey in Pasco county. Several vehicles incurred water damage from the urban floodwaters at low-lying intersections along the U.S. Highway 19 corridor in both Pinellas and Pasco counties.
